He killed six people, including a federal judge, a 9-year old girl, and a member of Giffords' staff, and caused fourteen injuries. Consequently he was indicted 49 times by Arizona grand juries. ==Personal== Jared dropped out of school in 2006 because he had behaviour problems starting to surface. These, '''possibly''', were brought on by his girlfriend breaking up with him. A former friend of Loughner indicated that he began to use a variety of drugs after this. He then got fired from his job because, according to his boss, he underwent a metamorphosis. Other jobs followed, and all his bosses stated the same: he rejected any authority, in such a way that suggested he resisted the concept itself. On September 29 2011 college police found a [[YouTube]] video uploaded by Loughner. In this video he accused his college of being illegal according to the [[United States]] constitution. He left a voicemail on his friend's phone telling him: ''Hey man, it's Jared. Me and you had good times. Peace out. Later'' The morning of the shooting he also posted a message on his [[Myspace]] account saying: "Goodbye friends. Please don't be mad at me. The literacy rate is below 5%. I haven't talked to one person who is literate. I want to make it out alive. The longest war in the history of the [[United States]]. Goodbye. I'm saddened with the current currency and job employment. I had a bully at school. Thank you. P.S. --plead the fifth!" On his way to where Giffords was set to hold her "congress", he was stopped by an officer, who thought, "Meh, this guy seems legit," and let Loughner go about his business. At 10:10AM he arrived at the scene of crime and shot at Gabrielle Giffords and bystanders. Giffords was hit in the head, but did survive. He killed six people, and injured fourteen.
